Alex also discusses the rise and inspiration behind her Clubhouse-based organization, "Black Vegans Unite" and how she is committed to advocating to the health and well-being of Black people across the world.

About Alex:

Alex Edwards was born and raised in  Detroit and  is a proud graduate of Renaissance High School, The University of Michigan Ann Arbor and Berklee College of Music. 

An avid world traveler with 33 countries and 4 continents under her belt she also speaks English, French, Spanish, Mandarin and Mongolian. 


She has been recognized as a Forbes U30 member and was featured in the Forbes 2020 Agtech.  She currently works in Content Protection at Universal Music Group New York and is also a member of the Recording Academy. 

Additionally, she is the Founder of Black Vegans Unite, a Clubhouse based organization of over 3,000 members created to create a bridge of transparency and information regarding health and wellness through healthy eating and food sustainability education to the Black community. 


She has experience as a global digital marketing strategist, promotions & events manager and is a published researcher with an extensive background in natural and social science research on a global scale.
