I see a lot of people in the detail industry talking about being "Mentors" or offering their services to mentor new or up and coming detailers. The problem I have with this is what makes them qualified to mentor someone who's starting out or looking for advice? I've had people before ask me to help them and my reply is usually "No" not because I don't want to, but because I'm a trainwreck too. That's why building a mentorship network is important to me. Not only do I surround myself with other detailers but I also seek advice from other business professionals. On this episode I/m joined by Darren Darvill, Angela-Inez Gilham and Brandon Johnson to talk about how they choose their mentors and also how they return the favor and mentor people looking for help.
