How Do You Grow A Podcast?

I'm fresh off vacation and the mountain air put me in a clear headspace to think about the podcast. 

Growing anything from scratch isn't easy. I'm fully aware that it takes lots of time, commitment, and a whole lot of talent to make anything big on the internet. This is still the very early days of Destination Different, but I'm a competitive guy and there are plenty of ways I can make it bigger and better.

In this episode, I took a moment to celebrate some of the podcast's wins...

- Hitting 2,000 downloads!

- Not saying "uhmm," "uhh," "right," or "gotcha" 10,000x per episode like I did in the first few shows

And also looked at how I could improve the show...

- Balance the ratio of creation / distribution. NEED to spend more time trying to get the show in people's ears

- Get clearer on the audience and mission. Every great media network is super clear about their who and their why. I need to do the same

Overall, I'm excited about the signs of progress, but even more determined to make this thing bigger and better.
