Beneficial Pain - Seeing Pain Differently With Billy Wingo & Devin Harvin

2020 hasn't been the best. I don't think there's any denying that. But on today's episode we've got two gentlemen who are spreading the good word of turning negatives into positives. 

Billy Wingo and Devin Harvin join us on the show this week. They are the CEO and COO of an organization called Beneficial Pain. Along with a few other friends from their Baltimore high school, the two of them helped start the non-profit after Billy was diagnosed with cancer in February of 2019. 

Beneficial Pain's mission is to reshape the mindset around pain. The foundation is built upon sharing narratives and utilizing resources to support those who not only redefine pain, but also embrace “failure.” Just this past month, the org launched their first-ever scholarship program where they awarded 6 high school seniors $1000 toward their college experience.
