Music Publishers Canada's Women in the Studio National Accelerator 2021 w/ MPC CEO Margaret McGuffin & Producer Mour!

Today on the DTP we are discussing the Music Publishers Canada’s Women in the Studio Accelerator 2021! Joining us for this conversation are MPC CEO Magaret McGuffin, as well as hip hop / r&b producer and accelerator participant Mour!   First launched regionally in 2019 and expanded nationally in 2020, the Women in the Studio Accelerator program offers women, gender fluid, non-binary and gender non-conforming participants a series of curated workshops, educational sessions, and networking opportunities with music industry leaders. Music Publishers Canada is committed to lessening the imbalance for this cohort in the music industry.   Not only do we discuss the growth & importance of this incredible program, but we also talk about the knowledge and lessons that are shared in the accelerator, as well as what the experience has been like so far for the 2021 intake as the program reaches its half way point!
