Dr. Manuela Maria Vazquez is the Founder of LaMaria, a brand that creates clean skincare for women’s life stages and transitions. As a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Vazquez brings her 12 years of expertise into a new category with a mission to create products that evoke a sense of pride in a woman. LaMaria was founded as a result of Dr. Vazquez being underwhelmed with the over-the-counter feminine care products she was having to recommend to her patients. These products have little-to-no scientific backing, are filled with unnatural chemicals, and come in lackluster packaging that contributes to the harmful taboo that female and vaginal wellness items are shameful.
