Welcome to the Dementia Connections Podcast, where each week we share the latest research, expert advice, and stories about living well with dementia.

This week we offer 2 'best of' articles from 2021 that focus on examples of meaningful engagement, illustrating the many ways we can support a person with dementia to access feelings of satisfaction, joy, and mastery, while maintaining independence and connecting with others.

In our first story, we revisit an article about cognitive care kits distributed through public libraries that are helping to increase meaningful engagement and decrease stigma for people living with dementia and their caregivers.

In our second story, we revisit two initiatives that help raise awareness, reduce stigma and increase inclusion for people living with dementia and their caregivers face in rural settings.
