Welcome to the Dementia Connections Podcast, where each week we share the latest research, expert advice, and stories about living well with dementia.

This week we've got three brand-new articles to share with you.

A diagnosis of dementia can be overwhelming, especially if you’re still working. But it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to give it all up right away. Our first story explores options for staying on the job.

In our second story, we investigate the connection between sleep apnea and dementia through new research by neurologist Dr. Mark Boulos and his team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

We're also sharing a short bonus article this week about a research-based film called, Music is Life. The film follow follows people living with dementia as they write and compose a song about the meaning of music. It's an important story about relational caring, a philosophy that embraces the importance of knowing the person through relationships and not as a list of preferences or tasks.

As always, you'll find the full articles and the links to related resources at DementiaConnections.ca
