Welcome to the Dementia Connections Podcast, where each week we share the latest research, expert advice, and stories about living well with dementia.

Sometimes, disrupting the status quo is the only way to create positive change. This week we’ll share two articles about 'dementia disruptors' who are finding powerful ways to challenge the perception of what it means to live with dementia.

Our first story is about Vancouver couple Ken Walker and Mark Demers who are fighting discriminatory beliefs around dementia with openness, and in the process, are entirely transparent about who they are.

Our  second story profiles Heather Campbell Pope, who as founder of Dementia Justice Canada, fights for a fairer justice system for people living with dementia.

As always, you'll find the full articles and the links to related resources at DementiaConnections.ca
