12 - Top Gun: Maverick

Once again, all aboard the 1980s nostalgia hype train (plane?). This time, it’s Top Gun: Maverick, which came out in June and turned out to not be as reliant on nostalgia as other media. Some callbacks are there, as I discuss with Vinny Tangherlini, who has long been a big fan of the first film. Listen to our conversation about this new one, complete with occasional tangents!
