In the 90s, millionaire sports investor and amateur wrestling aficionado John du Pont turned his lavish estate into a compound for training olympic wrestlers, He hired champion wrestlers Mark and Dave Schultz to run training at the newly-dubbed Foxcatcher Farms. They saw this as a meal ticket and an opportunity to pursue their passion for wrestling, but over time du Pont's growing mental illness would start to affect them and everyone else involved.
