Molly Murphy

On this episode of Deep Cuts & Coffee, we went back in time to one of our earlier interviews where we sat down with singer-songwriter, music educator, and small business owner Molly Murphy. Molly is most well-known as a member of Americana band, The Judy Chops, and founder of a school of music for learning by ear, Queen City Music Studios. We talked about what we have missed the most during the pandemic (live music primarily), how Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks are a music power couple, and Molly shared a tale about the early days of music at Natural Chimneys before Red Wing Roots Music Festival and the formation of The Judy Chops.
