At the begining of May I went to Devon to take part in one of the many SoundCamps happening around the world. This one was organised by SoundArt Radio. The aim of the weekend was to listen to the dawn chorus, and to reconnect with the natural surroundings.
I managed to get up on the Saturday morning at four o’clock in the morning, for the trail run, though I stayed in my tent the next morning and listened to the sounds of the birds from inside my sleeping bag.
It was a lovely weekend sitting and walking around the Dartington estate. Chatting around a fire and drinking plenty of coffee. We rounded the events off with a wildlide disco over at the SoundArt Radio studios. It really was a holiday for my ears.
