Parallel Lives is a project that aims to connect people who create and produce documentary forms of media across the world. As the lockdown is being lifted here in Leicester, John Coster had a coffee at the Documentary Media Centre, and had a chat about the work of the centre, and the importance of connecting people with and through media. We discussed the power of telling stories as a way of challenging media bias, social prejudice and enhancing social understanding through eduction.
