Renata Hill: Raising Awareness for the LGBTQ Community

Renata Hill, a native of New Jersey, spent three years in prison in New York  literally for being the survivor of sexual harassment. Her story, along with Venice Brown, Terrain Dandridge, and Patreese Johnson is featured in the documentary, Out in the Night .  Renata shares experiences about her life that, according her,  she's never shared before. Her stories of family strife, abuse, systemic disregard for the lives of young Black girls, and utter demonization of the LGBTQ community are enraging and inspiring.
