Bio: Dan Azzi is a retired investment banker. He worked at UBS, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche, and Bear Stearns. Most recently, he was Head of Global Markets in the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan, for Standard Chartered Bank, retiring in 2015 as CEO/Chairman of the Board in Lebanon. 


Currently, he is a regular OpEd writer and lecturer in economics, monetary policy, and political reform.
