Let's set the record straight: duplicate content is not what we usually call a Google algorithmic penalty.

However, there is a huge problem, concerning duplicate content for Google.

The problem might occur on-site or off-site.

Actually, I am proud to state my team of Search Engine Hackers released the issue to the public in 2005.

We called ourselves DarkSeoTeam, and we made some noise about algorithmic flaws in Google.
