[2:00 skip intro]
Dani, Nav and Ashler start predicting what we can expect from what's gonna be shown at the TGS event, where Death Stranding will have its own stage for the much anticipated gameplay presentation. Also, the true meaning of connection: Bridges seem to want every city to connect with their chiral network, but is that really the right way to go when reconnecting the world? Wouldn't a true connection involve the possibility to accept the will of some cities to remain independent? Accepting other ideas and point of views could be a way to forge a different (and even stronger) connection.

Welcome to Death Stranding Podcast - your source for news, analysis and discussion centred on the upcoming title from Kojima Productions, as well as the game's incomparable and unique creator Hideo Kojima, and his many eclectic inspirations.
DSP aims to showcase Kojima's work as an intricate and nuanced intersection of diverse subjects, from film to tv, philosophy, manga, science, history, technology, art, poetry and more, and explore the ways in which all of these have collectively served to make his games all the more universal, enduring, and quintessentially human.
Both bodies of work - Kojima's own, and his seemingly infinite array of influences across all media - are worthy of their own separate ongoing discussions unto themselves - but when taken together, both are immeasurably enhanced as a result.
DSP's ultimate goal is, likewise, to enhance the audience's appreciation and experience of Kojima's art and his influences, by revealing and delving into the connections (strands) that exist between them.
Video Games (interactive art/entertainment/storytelling) are a legitimate launching pad for wider and deeper learning about ourselves, each other, and the world we live in. Of all the forms of media that exist, games are closest to real life - both games and life are inherently interactive experiences that require active participation and engagement for them to be what they are. When this unique and profound connection to the human condition is tapped into and leveraged properly, games truly have the potential to be the most enriching, moving, and immersive form of art ever.
