As a first-generation Mexican immigrant, Maricela arrived to the United States with only $100 dollars in her pocket, unable to speak the language, and without knowing anyone. She left her business degree behind and started over by earning an EGD in the healthcare field. She completed her doctorate in the Practice of Anesthesia and joined the NAVY reserves. She started an anesthesia service business and have been practicing as a traveler provider around the country and overseas when deployed.
America has provided Maricela with unimaginable opportunities, from getting an education to buying real estate. She has a deep desire to give back by providing families in need with clean, safe, beautiful, and affordable housing.
