ANNOUNCEMENTS

How far in advance of a local show do you normally buy your tickets?  That’s the question I required each of the 500 people who voted for the singer-songwriter to answer.  I was really intrigued by the results, and I’ll share them here. They were allowed to check more than one response, both of them will be on this episodes page on our website, simply click on the Allthebestkids episode and scroll down to the announcements section.  Couple of takeaways: roughly ⅓ said they would buy their tickets weeks in advance. About half said they would only buy their tickets days in advance. For a local show, this means presales aren’t really going to be high unless you make it really a special event of some kind, and if you do that, only half of those that attend will buy their tickets at the door.  FASCINATING! We intend to do more of this kind of surveying to get to know the scene as the opportunities present themselves, and we’ll continue to share!

THE FESTIVAL - Have you bought your tickets yet to our festival at the 9:30 Club on Aug 18th?  Hundreds of tickets have already been sold, they’re only $15, go ahead and buy your tickets right now.  We’re having a party and we want you there!
