Previous Episode: Healthcare in America: Is There Another Way to Approach the Problem?
On 05 December, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission case which centers on whether creative businesses can refuse service due to its First Amendment rights of free speech and free exercise of religion in light of public accommodation laws. Specifically, can one refuse to provide creative services, such as a custom wedding cake, for same-sex marriage ceremonies on the basis of one's religious beliefs.
We'll discuss this case and the greater issue of marriage and family with Mr. Joe Grabowski, Director of Communications at National Organization for Marriage.
