It is alleged that Dax Tejera, who worked as an executive producer for ABC News, and his widow left their young children alone in a hotel room while they went out to dinner, which is ultimately what led to Tejera's passing.

According to information obtained by RadarOnline.com, Veronica Tejera, a senior producer at the Washington Post, told officials that she and her husband left their two young children in a hotel room while they went out for the evening in Manhattan. Tragically, while they were out, Veronica's husband suffered a fatal heart attack and passed away.

Dax passed away on December 23; he was 37 years old. A few hours later, the New York Police Department received a report from the elite members-only Yale Club about "unattended children" on the premises, which led to the arrest of Veronica, age 33, and the filing of two counts of child endangerment charges against her.
