This week’s episode is on the darkest matter we have covered yet…the Rwandan Genocide. 26 years ago, this racially-driven tragedy claimed countless lives and wreaked havoc on the lives of those who survived. Neighbors, coworkers, and even families turned on each other with a vengeance, killing over 800,000 Rwandans in total. The Rwandan Genocide should serve as a precautionary tale of the evils of colonization, as the two major groups in Rwanda, Hutus and Tutsis, lived in harmony before being colonized, segregated, and indoctrinated. We hope you learned something new from this episode and will be back next week.
