Okay well the Author I couldn't remember was named Philip José Farmer, AND his book was called To Your Scattered Bodies Go, not "Riverworld", AND it was written in 1971, not 1978 or whatever I said. Jeez what a huge moron I was. I remembered his name the second I stopped recording, I swear.
