Audrey talks about her car accident and how she got back to continue dancing and took an opportunity to teach in China where she ended up staying for 5 years.

Audrey became a mommy of 2 but that hasn’t stopped her from dancing. She is still very much involved.

 

About Audrey:

Audrey Benson Nuamah has been dancing since the age of five. She spent nearly a decade in LA where she appeared in Justin Timberlake’s “What goes around comes around” video, and Mims “Like This” video. She also opened for Snoop Dogg in Las Vegas and danced for Van Ness Wu in Seattle and New York. She’s danced for Team Millenia, Essence, and Breed OCLA. She was also Assistant Director for Breed and Rehearsal Director for Boogiezone Offspring. She has participated twice in HHI with a group of girls “Encore” that she put together. Audrey’s taught numerous workshops around the world in Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, Canada, China, Hawaii and the States. Her most recent work has been in China where she lived for 5 years. She performed there with Charli XCX who opened for Usher, danced for car shows such as “Nissan” and “Citron” and choreographed and assisted the manager for Shanghai’s most exclusive Linx Royal Members Club which was voted the #1 club in the world by Forbes Magazine. There she created shows with dancers and artists who are from many different countries including Spain, Russia, Ukraine, US, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Togo. She also helped events, which included performances by Apple.De.Ap. and other various guest DJ’s and Artists. After marrying and returning to her hometown in Arizona, she began teaching at Desert Star Dance, but due to Covid, is now focused on dancing at home while raising her two children. She is excited to continue staying inspired by doing what she loves. One of her favorite quotes is, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.”
