I can't ever seem to win the teddy bear with those claw machine games. I'm not actually sure if it's even possible. Similarly, if I'm not careful, I can try to win God's love and approval with my own efforts... and I'm not sure that's possible, either. That's where Jesus comes in. And to continue this odd analogy, He doesn't even need the claw.
