With only a little more than two hours to go before our first Europa League qualifier against Brøndby IF, we made ourselfs comfortable on a lawn at Arkonaplatz within spitting distance of Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahnsportpark.

How does one become a Hertha fan when living more than 5.000 miles away? The answer is: a woman! Well played, Mark!

Getroffen haben wir uns mit Mark nicht irgendwo, sondern auf historischem Gelände: dem Arkonaplatz, wo bekanntlich vor 124 Jahren Hertha gegründet wurde. Nur einen Steinwurf vom Jahnsportpark entfernt, auf dem wir im Anschluss gemeinsam das erste Qualifikationsmatch von Hertha gegen Brøndby IF gesehen haben.
