244: Mindset of the New Normal
A year ago I was on a football recruiting trip with my son, Daxon. It was cut short because of the “14 Days to Flatten The Curve” plan. At that time we couldn’t have imagined how dramatically this pandemic would impact all of our lives, or for how long. For a long time, people talked about “when things get back to normal…” But the truth is, we’re never going back to where we use to be. Things have changed and there are new ways of doing things. As much as I’ve heard people say they dislike the term, there is a “new normal." We’ve learned new ways of doing business, to connect, to learn, and to live our lives. As I said a year ago, it’s those that are prepared to take advantage of the opportunities that will be successful. I have seen many who have already done that. But I also see many who are still paralyzed by fear. If you’re ready to lead your own life and to find your own success, now is the time. You don’t have to wait for permission. There are others who are already doing it for themselves. If you have a courageous and powerful mindset in our "new normal", you can do amazing things!
