A decade ago, I was 25. I recorded my first album with my band titled "These Blue Walls Are Faking Freedom", which expressed some angst of growing up and losing the fire of my younger self. But more than that, it was a moment I woke up and remembered I was alive. I reflect on these "waking up" experiences in this podcast-only episode, and share an imperfect excerpt from my band's journal from that winter in the studio.
