For now, the Republican House Speaker nominee will be held by a generic MAGA placeholder who they will refer to as “Mike Johnson”. The “Mike Johnson” that the Gop hopes to drag across the finish line is actually based on a real-life pro-insurrection, anti-democratic, White Christian nationalist jerk. Johnson was part of the legal muscle fighting the separation of church and state. Republicans don’t want to hear about that, they don’t want to hear about anything at the moment… Anyhow... Congratulations!

Meanwhile, everyone around TFFG is flipping while the flipping’s good. Michael Cohen was a little late but is now making up for lost time. Jenna Ellis and Mark Meadows would be wise to flip now, but only time will tell if they are that wise.
