Proverbs 13:3 says, "Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin." Boy, oh boy, do I know this scripture. And I'm not saying that to boast either. In fact, I have learned some time ago that pride and boasting won't get anybody that far at all.
