Welcome to the Two Hundred Seventieth episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Noam Raucher looks at Masechet Pesachim Daf 11.

Passover is not only about physical slavery it’s also about spiritual slavery. Sometimes we can get so stuck in a rut: emotionally, behaviorally, mentally, about things that it’s hard to do anything else. That’s our spiritual Egypt. Liberation comes when we decide to do things, even small things, a little differently. And yet that doesn’t mean that we have to change entirely.

Rabbi Noam Raucher is one of the spiritual leaders at Temple Israel in Charlotte, North Carolina- a Conservative congregation. Noam Raucher grew up in Southern Connecticut to a loving family of Jewish educators and leaders. An alumnus of USY and Camp Ramah in New England, Noam also attend Hofstra University. Noam was ordained by the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in 2011. In addition to his rabbinic ordination Noam also studied for a Masters degree in education. Noam Raucher currently lives with his amazing wife, Tamar, his 2.5 year old son, Judah, and their two dogs: Lucy and Dixie.
