 A 17-foot great white shark weighing an astounding 3,541 pounds was captured and tagged for research purposes Friday in the Northwest Atlantic by researchers with OCEARCH. Researchers named the shark Nukumi. (MiamiHerald.com) 

Archaeologists found Iron Age remains in a burial site and have concluded they belong to the ancient Tagar culture, a nomadic group of warriors that lived in modern-day Siberia. Two warriors, one male and  one female, as well as an infant and an elderly woman, were part of the four skeletons discovered in the burial ground. The 2,500-year-old grave was packed with daggers, knives, axes, bronze mirrors and a miniature comb made of an animal horn. (FoxNews.com)
