S2E10

Jean calls this episode a prologue to Season 3, and it is, but it does manage to tie up Season 2 sufficiently enough for us. We say goodbye to Goody, the coven, Susanna, Father Hubbard, Pierre, Françoise, Jack (!), and Gallowglass in 1591. AND there is the "Hello/Goodbye" to Diana's Dad, Stephen Proctor!

Meanwhile, we are getting a glimpse of what the couple will be greeted with when they return to their modern lives - Ysabeau, Marcus, Miriam, Sarah, Emily, Nathaniel, Sophie, Agatha, and Phoebe examine the problems they are facing, and ponder possible solutions going forward. Gerbert and Domenico are fighting for their own power in destructive ways. Peter (we have a few choice words to say about him) is planning a solo raid on Sept-Tours. Satu -- well, she offered her help. It's not her fault that Peter is too stubborn to accept it! Come to the good side, Satu! And then there is Herr Fuchs ... aka Benjamin (!!!)

This episode runs long because we had a lot to discuss in the Spoiler Zone. Those of you who enter it, you'll understand why!

Thanks to all of our NEW Patrons for sponsoring this episode, and to all, please enjoy.

* Our episode titles are a loving tribute to the show "Friends" just 'cause we love Friends and - let's face it - it's easier! Here's how one of the show creators explains their reasoning:

Jeff Greenstein: "When Marta & David & Jeff & I did 'Dream On', we used to spend a lot of time thinking about titles, because they were on-screen at the top of each episode. On "Friends", we decided that was a waste of time. We figured, why not name each episode after the thing that people will ostensibly be talking about around the water-cooler the next day?"
