121. Capt. Kyle Schaefer on building a premier lodge in the Bahamas with his family.

In this episode, the dads talk with Kyle Schaefer of Soul Fly Lodge in the Berry Islands of the Bahamas. Kyle started Soul Fly Outfitters in the Northeast helping clients chase stripers and teaching all about conservation while doing it. After several seasons of that he and his wife desired something new and that led them to starting a premier fly fishing saltwater lodge. Located in the Berry Islands, a premier place to chase bonefish and permit on the flats as well as many other species, Kyle and his family have built a special place devoted not only to creating a great fishing experience, but also to making a difference in the local community. We take a deep dive into Kyle's story of fishing, entrepreneurship, and his family.
