# 35 - Chris Gronkowski - Gronk Family / NFL Player / Creator of Ice Shaker

Chris Gronkowski first made a career for himself in the NFL. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys and during his career also played for the Broncos and the Colts.
 
Once he retired from the NFL, he decided to put his business skills to the test and set out to create a protein shaker bottle that would alleviate many of the issues he and the other athletes experience with standard shakers. Chris created the Ice Shaker, a state of the art shaker that keeps drinks cold for over 30 hours and has a vacuum sealed pop-top lid.
 
He and his brothers (Rob, Gordie, Dan and Glenn) invaded ABC’s Shark Tank. However, it was not the brothers competing this team, it was the sharks. The Shark Tank investors, including guest judge Alex Rodriguez, all clamored for a piece of the Ice Shaker. With offers from all 5 sharks, Chris accepted an offer from Mark Cuban and Alex Rodriguez. The Ice Shaker has been exploding in sales ever since and continues to be a best seller.
 
Chris and his wife have three young boys all under the age of 3. Chris cherishes his role as a dad and is already amazed at fast his boys are growing. He shares some incredible insights into his role as a dad and I know you are going to appreciate this Father’s Day Special on Dad Up.
