Da Local Perspective trailer

Aloha, this is Da Local Perspective podcast, I am going to be bring you the local perspective on all sorts of topics in hopes to educate and give local people a voice beyond what you see or hear from commercials or travel agencies, most people think that its just hotels and beaches, while we surf all day and chill-lax all nightI can assure its much more then that. Who am I, well that’s a good question.  My name is Uilani Hideko Kalawe O Ko Ola Ana Ko Kaua Pulama Kumuhone, Ui for short, or Fatz if your family. anyway I will be the one talking stories with you on each episode and the first episode will launch on April 1st, 2021.

I am born and raised on the island of Oahu, this is my home and on it live a unique type of people.  

So if you are another local Hawaiian tuning in I hope you find some relatable conversation as we dive into each episode, or if you are a visitor wanting to visit I hope to teach you a few things about this beautiful place, its people and its culture before getting here.
