Having started in every single game during his collegiate career at Pomona-Pitzer, Daniel Rosenbaum capped his career with a slew of awards. The 6’5” shooting guard from Los Altos Hills, California, was named to the All-SCIAC (Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) First Team his junior season. In his last season, Daniel went one step further as he was honored as the David Wells SCIAC Player of the Year. He was also honored as a Third Team All-American, Academic All-American, First Team All-West Region, and was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Reese’s Division III All-Star Game.

In the 2018-2019 season, Daniel led his team to one of the program’s most successful seasons. The Sagehens earned the SCIAC Regular Season Title and won the SCIAC tournament championships for the first time since 2008. They also won the program's first NCAA tournament game since 2003.

Daniel etched his name into Pomona-Pitzer's record books finishing second in career points (1,744) and fourth in career three-pointers (164).

After graduating, Daniel headed to Israel to play for the Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, which competes in the Israeli Premier League and the European Champions League, the annual competition between Europe’s top teams. Although the coronavirus pandemic terminated their current season, Daniel's rookie season was spent learning from some of the best players in Europe.

Daniel has started his own blog on his website https://d-baum.com/ called "Trust the Processor" that is worth checking out! You can also find him on Instagram @d_baum5.

In his D3toPro story, Daniel and I bond over the Claremont Colleges dining halls, we learn about his high school baseball stats keeping days, his shift from star college player to learning from former NBA players, and his love for pastries.
