S1 E7 - Bristol Bicycles

In this episode I speak with Jake from Bristol Bicycles. A small independent bike brand from, you guessed it....Bristol, who make bikes that'll stand the test of time. 

Bristol Bicycles have several models in the range including a touring bike, city bikes, 'explorer specific' style bikes and e-bikes. Jake's vision was to design & build bikes for people who rely on them for transport day-in-day-out. He even has a few of his bikes doing around the world tours!

I speak with Jake about his change in career to follow his passion for cycling, the bike design and building process, tips on what makes a reliable bike and we also speak about some cool things he's got coming up.

Jake and I spoke at the beginning of May so you'll hear some reference to the business not being open as usual. However, the store (in Bristol) is all back up and running at the point this episode goes live.
