CXR holds its second weekly check-in with talent leaders and industry vendors to talk about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Challenges that arose this week included how many big companies are handling background checks with courts closed, changing requirements for drug screening to address the surge of hiring without testing personnel, virtual college internships, and workarounds for onboarding and I-9 paperwork for new hires.

Additionally, several companies are coming together to help with massive hiring needs created by the strain the Coronavirus has put on businesses through creative partnerships with companies who are forced to lay off multiples of thousands of employees.  CVS shares how they are helping to hire Marriott and Hilton team members as other leaders begin to rally in the same direction, collectively.
