If you follow this podcast then you know how much we throw it up for certain movements out of Boston. One movement in particular is Shooterz Muzik, a collective of artists from all over Boston but mainly Roxbury– which has most recently been led by the driving force of 8 Zipp! Zipp is no stranger to CWTFB Radio, as he was one of our earliest guests dating back to episode 6, and the 3rd rapper to ever give us some bars for Red Cups And Rap! Almost 18 months and 76 episodes later, 8 Zipp is back and as cliche as it sounds; he's better than ever!
Having wrapped up some legal issues, 8 Zipp began to really capture the MA music scene by one strategy and that was consistency. It does help that he is an exceptional lyricists but we have seen time and time again that talent means nothing if you're not willing to work hard. With the formation of his team and structure from his management, it seems as if the "No Losses" rapper really can't lose! With 2 EPs and a plethora of singles and features, 8 Zipp pulls up to chop it up with KASH and Chizz about his internal growth, some friends being incarcerated, helping other artists who want help, UNITY within the scene despite personal issues, AND MUCH MUCH MORE! This was definitely one of our favorite sit downs of the year and one you don't want to miss!!!
