Episode 221: "Concussions Or Percussions" (w/ Frank Beats, DiorTheProducer, & King Brickz)

Hip Hop at its core has always been about the music touching the streets. Not in a negative or criminal way but literally just that; touching the people (No Diddy) and creating from the sounds that were given to them. Thanks to our guy King Brickz, we were able to hear about a young artist who is doing just that in a dope way — Frank Beats‼️ Frank is currently a Berklee College of Music student who is primarily a producer and is merging the sounds of Rock & Hip-Hop as its historically been done but this time its been done in a way that we havent seen before. Just about 8-9 months ago the producer/guitarist started his “GUITAR SESSION” series on YouTube and has been able to connect with a lot of notable artists by traveling from state to state to create unique pieces with the artists rapping over his guitar sounds. In under a year he’s been able to amass over 1,000,000 views on his YouTube channel alone‼️ With this kind of work ethic and talent, everybody needs to tap in with this young man and see what he’s been able to do, ALL WHILE STILL GOING TO SCHOOL. 
Frank Beats also brought his friend DiorTheProducer with him for this sit down, who we found out about from a recent #YGizzle collab project to tell about his college athlete dropout story to now being able to live full time as a music producer as well. King Brickz was the glue to this whole situation as he’s been telling us about Frank since last August and is very excited to see where his platform can take Boston as a whole. This was a dope and fun conversation as we jumped around a few different topics.
