Episode 188: "Choose Your Community" (w/ Bad For The Community podcast)

2021 was a great year for us as it was the 1st time we won “Best Music Podcast” at the #BostonMusicAwards and seemingly opened up our audience to new supporters within our growing scene. That was also the year that birthed another #Boston music podcast that is gaining heavy traction, “Bad For The Community”! This group of young Black men consist of 4 very different creatives from Boston & Brockton; The 508 God (FKA Young Rob), Nate Nics, Tomo, & Snt Yves— who got together to form a music podcast tackling an assortment of topics ranging from their personal art to social issues. We’ve seen the work they’ve done for the past 2 years and after appearing on their podcast in late 2022, the time has come for us to collaborate again for a long overdue & transparent conversation. #CharlieMaSheen has once mentioned that BFTC is the top music podcast in the city for creatives under 30 years old while we cater mostly to the 30+ crowd and this exchange of words couldn’t have displayed this any more accurately. While we share many similarities we have very different views on the world and society as a whole. The one thing we do stand on time and time again is GOOD MUSIC; whatever our perceptions of that may be. 
Join Charlie MaSheen & #KASH as we host Bad For The Community at The Garage Media Center over a talk about their origin, their different types of art, the music scene in Boston (& surrounding areas), confronting Charlie about his stance on the #transgender community, & SO MUCH MORE‼️ We shared a lot of laughs and we also seemed  agreed to disagree on a number of things but this podcast is not one to skip over AT ALL‼️ We also wrapped up w/ 4 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 freestyles from Nate Nics, Tomo, & The 508 God WHICH WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL TUESDAY 8/29 @ MIDNIGHT‼️ TAP INNNNNNNN‼️
