#114 // The Post, Aguirre, the Wrath of God

On this episode we discuss one of the best films of the year, Steven Spielberg's ode to journalistic integrity The Post! The film features outstanding performances from Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks and offers a timely look at why a free press is one of the pillars of society. Then we set sail down the river with Werner Herzog's 1972 film Aguirre, the Wrath of God. It's the first leg of our voyage into the Werner Herzog Directors Series and we may come out the other end as changed men, if we come out at all (we do).
