James Herriot, or to use his real name, Alf Wight, is one of the best-loved British authors of all time. Writing autobiographical stories of his days as a vet in the Yorkshire Dales, Herriot captured the hearts of people everywhere. His son Jim Wight worked with him for years, and wrote a memoir of his father. He joined Jonathon to discuss the life and work of the real James Herriot.
