India is still getting tons of rain and storms but the USA is still the leader in giant cans of worms. Remember when people thought 2016 was the worst year ever?

We talk about the Las Vegas shooting and some of the theories around why he did this. Who was he? We also think we are going to try a podcast episode about people who are jerks to us.

We talk about what we do know about the shooter and his close relationships.

Emily gives a brief breakdown of gun laws in the USA. Anna gives a brief breakdown of gun laws in India. Spoiler alert: they are very different.

How can we help our children process hard things so they deal with things in a healthy way as adults?

Anna tells us about a horrible shooting in India in 2008 where 163 people were killed.

We talk about gun control some more and then launch into… The Emmy’s!

Is it ok for celebrities to use their platform for political and social reasons? This leads into talking about the NFL and such. Also it’d be great if we were able to actually have productive debate rather than just sweet and sour rhetoric.
