Previous Episode: Holy Spirit Personality
Next Episode: Filled with Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit was there, even before the Earth was formed. If you look closely, you will find Him present throughout the entire Bible.

He was hovering over the waters at the dawn of creation.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. - Genesis 1:1-2 NASB 1995

He was there as God breathed the breath of life into man.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being. - Genesis 2:7 NKJV

He was there, leading God’s people with a cloud by day and fire by night.

Exodus 13:21-22 NASB

He made a way, parting the Red Sea with His glorious arm.

Exodus 14:21-31 NASB 1995 (Note: In the podcast we incorrectly mention verses 19-31)

He was, is, and will always be present.

Then His people remembered the days of old, of Moses.
Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock?
Where is He who put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them,
Who caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses,
Who divided the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name,
- Isaiah 63:11-12 NASB

Where is it you need to know the Holy Spirit was there in your life? Blessing you to follow the Holy Spirit out of bondage and into the promised land He has for you. May you fall in love with His love, His beauty, and His presence.
