Two years ago, NY1 reporter Lindsay Tuchman noticed a trend among young people: E-cigarettes were hugely popular. She pitched a story and spoke to college students about its appeal and its popularity. In the years since, federal legislation, deadly illnesses and widespread media coverage have surrounded vaping.
