Walt and Annie make a soft transition out of Halloween spookiness, by mashing up retro-sci-fi-gender-bending-crazytown The Rocky Horror Picture Show with delightfully cozy Friends-but-you-like-them sitcom New Girl. Meatloafs die and a classic Winston messaround goes awry, while we discuss sexual freedoms in the 1970s, what makes a truly good hang-out sitcom, and whether Tim Curry can do any wrong whatsoever.
