Los Angeles in the late 1940s was in the stages of recovery after World War II. While people strived to find a sense of normality after years of being at war, Los Angeles would soon be haunted by the murder of a young woman found in a vacant lot, cut in half. Many suspects were investigated, but none were indicted. Will this case ever be solved? This is the story of Elizabeth Short, also known as The Black Dahlia.
